A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Grand Haven MI. At 1206 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. These thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 27 nm west of South Haven Light to near St. Joseph Light to 17 nm east of New Buffalo, moving northeast at 40 knots.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of northern Indiana, including the following counties, De Kalb, Lagrange, Noble and Steuben. * WHEN. Until 245 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1139 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional thunderstorms are expected overnight. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
