A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Burleson, Grimes, Houston, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker and Washington. * WHEN. From this evening through Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Another round of heavy rainfall and thunderstorms is expected tonight. Grounds are very saturated, so any additional rainfall will be slow to drain and could lead to street flooding and additional rises on rivers, creeks and streams. Moderate flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Navasota River near Easterly. * WHEN. Until late Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 3:00 PM CDT Tuesday the stage was 23.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will fall to 21.6 feet late this afternoon. It will then rise to 21.7 feet late this evening. It will fall to 21.6 feet late this evening. It will then rise to 21.7 feet just after midnight tonight. It will fall below flood stage late Thursday morning to 2.2 feet early Sunday morning then rise again.
