The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a * Urban and Small Stream Flood Advisory for. Northeastern Jefferson County in southeastern Texas. Central Orange County in southeastern Texas. * Until 1145 AM CDT. * At 952 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to showers and thunderstorms advancing across the area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding in the advisory area. Up to two inches of rain has already fallen. * Some locations that will experience flooding include. Beaumont, Port Arthur, Vidor, Bridge City, Mauriceville, Central Gardens, Forest Heights and Orangefield. Additional rainfall of 1 to 2 inches is possible over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
