Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK. * WHEN. Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Widespread heavy rainfall over the last week has led to very saturated ground, excessive runoff, and rising rivers and streams across the area. Locally heavy moderate to heavy rainfall potential will exist with widespread showers and storms that occur across the area today. Additional rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches will be possible, with locally higher amounts leading to both flash flooding and mainstem river flooding concerns. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

The Flood Advisory is extended for the following rivers in Arkansas. Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam affecting Johnson, Logan and Franklin Counties. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Arkansas River at Ozark Lock and Dam. * WHEN. Until early Wednesday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 357.0 feet, flooding affects agricultural use lands along the river downstream of the lock and dam in Franklin County. Gas fields are also subject to flooding downstream. Equipment and livestock should be moved to higher ground. North 5th Street in Logan County near the Six Mile Levee begins to flood and may cut off access to a nearby residence. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:00 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 356.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below action stage Sunday afternoon, but will then rise above action stage again early Tuesday morning to a crest of 355.6 feet Tuesday evening. The river will then fall back below action stage Wednesday morning. - Action stage is 355.5 feet. - Flood stage is 357.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

At 355.5 feet, the river remains in its banks, but access to Okane Island may be cut off. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:00 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 355.9 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below action stage Sunday afternoon, but will then rise above action stage again early Tuesday morning to a crest of 355.6 feet Tuesday evening.
