For the Chariton River. including Novinger, Prairie Hill. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Chariton River at Novinger. * WHEN. Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS. At 20.0 feet, Farm fields along the river begin to flood. At 23.0 feet, Moderate flooding of farmland occurs. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:45 AM CDT Sunday the stage was 19.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 21.3 feet this afternoon. Portions of north central and northeast Missouri, including the following counties, in north central Missouri, Carroll, Chariton, Linn, Livingston and Macon. In northeast Missouri, Adair. * WHEN. Until 315 PM CDT Sunday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 839 AM CDT, The transportation department reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 1.5 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall is possible this afternoon with thunderstorms. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
