From midnight CDT tonight through Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Multiple rounds of heavy rainfall are expected to pass across the area through Saturday afternoon. Widespread rainfall amounts of 2 to 5 inches are expected, with localized totals above 6 inches possible. Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. The National Weather Service in New Orleans LA has issued a Flood Warning for the following rivers in Mississippi. Biloxi River Near Lyman affecting Harrison County. For the Biloxi River. including Wortham, Lyman. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Biloxi River near Lyman. * WHEN. From late Friday night to late Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 14.0 feet, At 14 feet homes on lower Fisherman Trail will begin to flood and lower River Road will be impassable. Driving on Loraine Road will be hazardous due to the high water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early Saturday morning to a crest of 14.0 feet early Sunday morning. At 9.0 feet, Bells Ferry Road will be impassable with deep water on the east bridge approach. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:45 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 4.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast.
