A line of showers and thunderstorms is expected to move into Deep Southeast Texas and west Louisiana late tonight. This line is expected to slowly move across southeast Texas and southwest Louisiana overnight into Monday evening. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible. * WHERE. Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Allen, Beauregard, Evangeline, Northern Calcasieu, Rapides and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Northern Orange, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler. * WHEN. From this evening through Monday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Flow across the boundary will become favorable for moisture feed into storms and may result in areas of 3 to 5 inches of rainfall with isolated higher amounts possible. Southeast Texas and central Louisiana will be especially vulnerable to high rainfall rates and, or totals as water levels remain elevated from previous storm systems. Heavy downpours in a short time or training rainfall may result in urban flash flooding and may cause creeks, bayous and rivers to come out of their banks. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Calcasieu River near White Oak Park. * WHEN. From Sunday morning to early Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 2.0 feet, Minor flooding of Goos Ferry Road will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 3:35 PM CDT Saturday the stage was 1.9 feet. - Forecast. The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 1030 AM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 25.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 AM CDT Saturday was 25.3 feet. - Forecast.
