Illinois River near Havana affecting Cass, Mason and Fulton Counties. .The following forecasts are based on observed precipitation, soil moisture conditions, and forecast precipitation. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Illinois River at Peoria. * WHEN. Until early Thursday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 18.0 feet, Some flooding begins to bottomland not protected by levees. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:45 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 19.1 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 8:45 AM CDT Saturday was 19.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 19.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
