Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City. Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake. * Until 200 PM CDT. * At 1206 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 9 nm northeast of Aurora to 15 nm southwest of Midway Airport to 6 nm southeast of Joliet, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots and large hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Locations impacted include. Harrison-Dever Crib, 31st Street Harbor, Monroe Harbor, Burns Harbor, Calumet Harbor, Indiana Harbor, Montrose Harbor, Burnham Harbor, Hammond Marina, Jackson Park Harbor, Belmont Harbor, and Marina Shores at Dune Harbor.

A Marine Weather Statement has been issued for the following areas. Nearshore and Open Waters from St Joseph to Manistee MI. At 137 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated showers and a few embedded thunderstorms, capable of producing winds to around 30 knots. They existed along a line extending from near Sheboygan to 24 nm northeast of Wind Pt. to 13 nm northeast of Wilmette Harbor, moving east at 30 knots. strong thunderstorms will be near. White Lake Pier Heads and The White Lake Pierheads around 255 PM EDT. Muskegon Light, Little Sable Point Light, and Mona Lake Channel around 300 PM EDT. Grand Haven Light around 305 PM EDT. Saugatuck Pier Heads around 320 PM EDT. South Haven Light around 325 PM EDT.
