At 23.0 feet, moderate lowland flooding below Easterly is expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 2:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 21.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Flood stage is 19.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Wednesday morning and continue falling to 12.1 feet early Saturday afternoon.

Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Navasota River near Normangee. * WHEN. Until late Thursday evening. * IMPACTS. At 17.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding continues with widespread inundation of the flood plain in the vicinity of the gage with the river more than 1 mile wide. Long Trussel Road in northeast Brazos County below State Highway 21 is threatened. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 PM CDT Monday the stage was 16.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 12.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:00 PM CDT Monday was 19.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage late Thursday morning and continue falling to 13.7 feet Saturday evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - Flood History.
