Waters from High Island to Freeport TX from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 845 AM CDT. * At 640 AM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 61 nm north of Scott Bay to 35 nm northwest of Crystal Bay to 27 nm west of Burnet Bay to 40 nm west of Upper San Jacinto Bay to 47 nm north of Turtle Bay to 50 nm north of Port Lavaca, moving southeast at 40 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to nearly 50 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. FFWHGX The National Weather Service in League City has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Northwestern Montgomery County in southeastern Texas. South Central Walker County in southeastern Texas. * Until 930 AM CDT. * At 631 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is already occurring. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Montgomery, Dacus and Dobbin. Rainfall from the previous day resulted in high water along FM 1097, with portions of the roadway along the northeast side of Montgomery washing out. High water was also reported at FM 149 at Little Lake Creek and Lawson Street at Liberty Street. Additional rainfall may exasperate flooding issues at these locations.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Texas, including the following counties, Montgomery and Walker. * WHEN. Until 700 AM CDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1129 PM CDT, Emergency management reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Atkins Creek is reportedly inundating FM 1097 leading to high water along the roadway on the northeast side of Montgomery. High water is also reported at FM 149 at Little Lake Creek and Lawson Street at Liberty Street. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected tonight.
