Coastal waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA out 20 NM. Coastal waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA out 20 NM. Waters from Cameron LA to High Island TX from 20 to 60 NM. Waters from Intracoastal City to Cameron LA from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 500 PM CDT. * At 322 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 24 nm northwest of White Lake to High Island 157, moving southeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. * Locations impacted include. Calcasieu River near White Oak Park Mermentau River Near Mermentau Sabine River Near Deweyville Neches River at Neches River Saltwater Barrier Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Tuesday afternoon at 100 PM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Sabine River near Deweyville. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 25.0 feet, Lowest roads beside the river flood around Deweyville and subject to being closed. In addition, low-lying roads in Southwest Beauregard Parish are flooded including Robert Clark Road. Flooding occurs on the south side of Niblett Bluff Park with access roads to camp houses cut off around the park. Access roads to the river in Northeastern Orange County become flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:45 PM CDT Monday the stage was 24.8 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:45 PM CDT Monday was 24.8 feet. - Forecast. Northeastern Hardin County in southeastern Texas. Southeastern Jasper County in southeastern Texas. Southwestern Newton County in southeastern Texas. Northeastern Orange County in southeastern Texas. * Until 530 PM CDT. * At 219 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. The expected rainfall rate is 1 to 3 inches in 1 hour. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include.
