AREAS OF LOCALLY DENSE FOG THIS MORNING. Areas of dense fog have developed across portions of central and eastern Virginia and interior northeastern North Carolina this morning. Visibilities are as low as a quarter to half mile in spots. Visibility should improve around 9 AM. Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to areas of dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds and use low beam headlights only.
