Patchy freezing drizzle is occurring across portions of northern lower Michigan this morning, with freezing drizzle observations being reported at Gaylord, Cadillac, and Houghton Lake. This will continue through the rest of the morning and into the afternoon, with potential for a glaze of ice on untreated and elevated surfaces. Temperatures are set to warm to or above freezing later this afternoon into the evening, which should mitigate the impacts from any drizzle. Any snow covered roads that slush up late this afternoon into the evening will be subject to a refreeze later tonight as temperatures fall into the mid-to-upper 20s closer to sunrise.
