At 920 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking gusty showers along a line extending from 6 miles west of Rich Square to 11 miles south of Scotland Neck to House. Movement was northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Strong thunderstorms will be near. Rich Square around 925 PM EDT. Woodland and Roxobel around 930 PM EDT. Lewiston Woodville around 935 PM EDT. Aulander around 940 PM EDT. Other locations impacted by these storms include Eagletown, Whites Crossroads, Tunis, Kelford, Earleys, Menola, Chowan Beach, Mapleton, Republican, and Burden.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Overflowing poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 744 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - They heaviest rain is falling over Nash and Wilson Counties, moving northeast. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
