* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Portions of southeastern Massachusetts, including the following counties, Bristol and Plymouth and Rhode Island, including the following counties, Bristol, Kent, Newport, Providence and Washington. * WHEN. Until 1215 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Some roads remain closed due to flooding. Streams and rivers continue to rise due to excess runoff from rainfall. Low-water crossings are inundated with water and may not be passable. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 906 AM EDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the warned area. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
