And in Rhode Island, including the following areas, Bristol, Kent, Newport, Providence RI and Washington Counties. * WHEN. Until 6 AM EDT Friday. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rainfall totals between 1 and 2.5 inches will be common across the region. Wood River At Hope Valley affecting Washington County. For the Pawtuxet River. including Scituate Reservoir, Cranston. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Wood River. including Hope Valley. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Pawtuxet River at Cranston. * WHEN. From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 11.0 feet, Structures and homes are impacted in low lying sections of Warwick. Affected areas include homes and businesses on Wellington Avenue and Avery Road in Cranston, as well as Pioneer Avenue, Bellows Street, Venturi Avenue and a portion of River Street in Warwick. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast. At 10.0 feet, Flooding will occur along Pioneer Avenue, Bellows Street and Venturi Avenue in Warwick. Some homes are impacted on Avery Road and Wellington Avenue in Cranston. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:45 PM EDT Thursday the stage was 8.6 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this evening to a crest of 10.1 feet early tomorrow afternoon.
