The National Weather Service in Wakefield has extended the * Flood Warning for. The City of Chesapeake in southeastern Virginia. The City of Norfolk in southeastern Virginia. The City of Portsmouth in southeastern Virginia. The Northeastern City of Suffolk in southeastern Virginia. The City of Virginia Beach in southeastern Virginia. * Until 615 PM EDT Friday. * At 1144 AM EDT, Rain has ended, however, flooding is still occurring in the warned area. Between 4 and 6 inches of rain fell Thursday night into early Friday morning. Some locations that will experience flooding include. Virginia Beach, Downtown Portsmouth, Norfolk State University, Downtown Norfolk, Deep Creek, Old Dominion University, Great Bridge, Regent University, Churchland, Virginia Wesleyan University, Kempsville, Ocean View, Downtown Suffolk, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Portsmouth, Suffolk, Cradock, Ghent and Norview.
