SVRGSP The National Weather Service in Greenville-Spartanburg has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. East central Iredell County in the Piedmont of North Carolina. * Until 800 PM EDT. * At 724 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Statesville, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Minor hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to trees and power lines. * Locations impacted include. Statesville, Troutman, and Cool Springs.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 624 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
