FFWOUN The National Weather Service in Norman has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Western Comanche County in southwestern Oklahoma. * Until 100 AM CDT. * At 959 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts up to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Lawton, Cache, Medicine Park, Indiahoma, Fort Sill, Lake Lawtonka, southwestern Lake Ellsworth, Wichita Mountains Wildlife Refuge, The Visitor Center, Doris Campground and Mount Scott.

Southern Stephens County in southern Oklahoma. * Until 1145 PM CDT. * At 1106 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Comanche, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Tornado and half dollar size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * Locations impacted include. Comanche and Loco.
