Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rainfall of 3 to 5 inches with isolated higher amounts fell over parts of central Iowa last night into this morning and led to flash flooding in some areas. Additional round of storms is expected this afternoon that may cause new flash flooding or prolong or renew flash flooding in areas that experienced flash flooding earlier.

Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Numerous roads remain closed due to flooding. It will take several hours for all the water from these storms to work through local drainage systems in urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 644 PM CDT, Emergency management reported flooding in the warned area.
