Forecast flooding changed from Minor to Moderate severity and increased in duration for the following rivers in Texas. Chambers Creek Near Rice affecting Navarro County. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Chambers Creek near Rice. * WHEN. Until late tomorrow morning. * IMPACTS. At 27.0 feet, Moderate out of bank flooding will occur along the creek. A few rural roads will be flooded. Minor lowland flooding is expected for farms and ranches downstream. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:00 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 28.2 feet. - Bankfull stage is 24.0 feet. - Flood stage is 24.0 feet. - Forecast. The river will rise to 28.3 feet this morning. It will then fall below flood stage late this evening to 12.4 feet tomorrow evening. It will rise to 13.8 feet early Tuesday morning. It will then fall again and remain below flood stage.
