* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Rapides and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler. * WHEN. Through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Additional rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to affect the region again today into tonight. Portions of the area received 2 to 4 inches of rainfall Sunday, and an additional 1 to 3 inches is expected today, along with localized higher amounts. Bundick Creek At Bundick Lake Bayou Des Cannes Near Eunice Calcasieu River Near Salt Water Barrier Calcasieu River Near Oberlin Calcasieu River Near Kinder Calcasieu River Near Oakdale Mermentau River Near Mermentau Additional information is available at www.weather.gov. The next statement will be issued Tuesday morning at 1045 AM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mermentau River near Mermentau. * WHEN. From Tuesday afternoon until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 4.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding near the river will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:15 AM CDT Monday the stage was 3.5 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage early tomorrow afternoon and continue rising to 4.5 feet Friday evening.
