Waters from Lower Atchafalaya River to Intracoastal City LA from 20 to 60 NM. * Until 800 PM CDT. * At 623 PM CDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Vermilion 22 to near West Cameron 205, moving east at 55 knots. TORLCH The National Weather Service in Lake Charles has issued a * Tornado Warning for. Northwestern St. Martin Parish in south central Louisiana. * Until 645 PM CDT. * At 630 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located over Atchafalaya Welcome Center, or 8 miles north of Catahoula, moving east at 60 mph. HAZARD. Tornado. SOURCE. Radar indicated rotation. IMPACT. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This dangerous storm will be near. Atchafalaya National Wildlife Refuge around 635 PM CDT. This includes Interstate 10 in Louisiana between mile markers 116 and 126.
