* WHAT. One to two feet of inundation above ground level possible in low lying areas due to tidal flooding. * WHERE. Shoreline in Anne Arundel County. * WHEN. From late Thursday night through Friday morning, especially around the time of high tide. High tide at Annapolis U.S. Naval Academy is at 7:42 AM Friday morning. * IMPACTS. At 3.2 feet, water begins to approach businesses on Dock Street in Annapolis. The City Dock parking lot is flooded. Compromise Street is flooded. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one to two feet above normal. There is uncertainty in how much water levels increase through Friday.

A brief period of gusty north-northeast winds is possible between roughly 2 and 4 AM overnight over the upper tidal Potomac River. Gusts of 15 to 20 knots are possible. Mariners, especially those who are inexperienced or operating smaller vessels, should exercise extra caution if navigating the waters during this time.

High tide at Piney Point is at 4:19 AM early Friday morning. High tide at Point Lookout is at 3:29 AM overnight Thursday night. * IMPACTS. At 3.5 feet, water covers roads on Saint George Island, is in yards, and is approaching structures. To the east, inundation is occurring at multiple marinas off St. Mary's River, Smith Creek, and Jutland Creek. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. Tides one to two feet above normal. There is uncertainty in how much water levels increase through Friday.
