Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Heavy rain fell over most of the watch area on Monday and Monday night. More thunderstorms are expected later today and early tonight. The wet soils will cause the rain to run off into the already-high streams and creeks. Patapsco River including Baltimore Harbor. * Until 545 PM EDT. * At 348 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 16 nm west of Middle River to 10 nm west of Fort Smallwood State Park to near Reagan National Airport, moving east at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Boaters in small craft could be thrown overboard by suddenly higher winds and waves capsizing their vessel. * Locations impacted include.
