Southeastern Red River County in northeastern Texas. * Until 930 PM CDT. * At 839 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Cookville, or 7 miles northeast of Mount Pleasant, moving northeast at 40 mph. HAZARD. Golf ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Wood County in northeastern Texas. * Until 915 PM CDT. * At 617 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 4 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE.
