A portion of southeast Texas, including the following areas, Brazos, Burleson, Chambers, Coastal Harris, Grimes, Houston, Inland Harris, Madison, Montgomery, Northern Liberty, Polk, San Jacinto, Southern Liberty, Trinity, Walker, Waller and Washington. * WHEN. Through Sunday afternoon. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Low-water crossings may be flooded. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible. Area creeks and streams are already well out of banks with additional heavy rain expected. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - A lull in heavy rain is expected through this evening; however, some scattered showers/storms are possible this afternoon which may contribute to the ongoing flooding. The next round of heavy rainfall is expected late tonight into Sunday. Trinity River at Liberty affecting Liberty County. Trinity River near Goodrich affecting San Jacinto, Liberty and Polk Counties. Trinity River near Moss Bluff affecting Chambers and Liberty Counties. Trinity River at Riverside affecting San Jacinto, Trinity, Polk and Walker Counties. . The Flood Warning is extended for the following rivers in Texas. Bedias Creek near Madisonville affecting Madison and Walker Counties. For the Trinity River. including Crockett, Riverside, Romayor, Goodrich, Liberty, Moss Bluff. Major flooding is forecast. For the Menard Creek. including Rye. Moderate flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Moderate flooding is occurring and moderate flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Menard Creek near Rye. * WHEN. Until early Monday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 23.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding begins as low lying areas along the creek are inundated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 26.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 17.0 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:15 AM CDT Saturday was 33.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to fall below flood stage early Monday morning and continue falling to 16.4 feet Thursday morning. - Flood stage is 20.0 feet. - Flood History. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 9:30 AM CDT Saturday was 16.4 feet. - Forecast. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 33.0 feet, Moderate lowland flooding will occur. Low-lying roads and a few homes have some flooding between Bon Wier and Merryville. Camp houses along the river in Southwest Vernon Parish begin to flood. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 32.5 feet. - Recent Activity.
