At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sour Lake, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Beaumont, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Nome, Bevil Oaks, China, Lakeview, Caney Head, Honey Island, Fannett, and Village Mills. This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 856 and 833.

Conroe, Cleveland, The Woodlands, Panorama Village, Splendora, Cut And Shoot, North Cleveland, Woodloch, and Lake Conroe Dam.

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Texas, including the following county, Harris. * WHEN. Until 345 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1243 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Trinity River near Moss Bluff. * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 12.2 feet, Minor lowland flooding begins in the vicinity of the gage. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:30 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 13.1 feet. - Bankfull stage is 9.2 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 10:30 AM CDT Saturday was 13.8 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to remain steady above flood stage at 13.0 feet. - Flood stage is 12.2 feet. - Flood History. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this afternoon and continue rising to a crest of 26.7 feet Monday morning. - Flood stage is 26.0 feet. - Flood History.
