At 245 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Sour Lake, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Beaumont, Lumberton, Silsbee, Kountze, Sour Lake, Nome, Bevil Oaks, China, Lakeview, Caney Head, Honey Island, Fannett, and Village Mills. This includes Interstate 10 in Texas between mile markers 856 and 833.

Conroe, Cleveland, The Woodlands, Panorama Village, Splendora, Cut And Shoot, North Cleveland, Woodloch, and Lake Conroe Dam.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1243 PM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are expected over the area.
