Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Widespread showers and thunderstorms will develop and move through portions of the Brazos Valley/Piney Woods this afternoon into tonight. Some of these storms may become strong to severe and produce heavy rainfall that may lead to localized flooding especially in areas with poor drainage or low-lying areas. At 1110 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms over portions of Walker, Trinity, Polk, San Jacinto, and Polk counties. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Livingston, Onalaska, Corrigan, Coldspring, Point Blank, Riverside, Goodrich, Seven Oaks, Sebastopol, Lake Livingston State Park, Alabama-Coushatta Reservation, West Livingston, Leggett, Moscow, Oakhurst, and Evergreen.

The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:30 AM CDT Sunday was 12.5 feet. - Forecast.
