TORSJT The National Weather Service in San Angelo has issued a * Tornado Warning for. Northwestern Shackelford County in west central Texas. * Until 900 PM CDT. * At 825 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing a tornado was located near Big Country Baptist Assembly, or near Lueders, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD. Tornado and quarter size hail. SOURCE. Weather spotters reported funnel cloud. IMPACT. Flying debris will be dangerous to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes will be damaged or destroyed. Damage to roofs, windows, and vehicles will occur. Tree damage is likely. * This tornadic thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Shackelford County.

HAZARD. 60 mph wind gusts and half dollar size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * This severe thunderstorm will be near. Rochelle and Placid around 815 PM CDT. Other locations impacted by this severe thunderstorm include Harkeyville, Fife, Milburn, Locker, Whon, Us-283 Near The Mcculloch- Coleman County Line, Us-190 Near The Mcculloch- San Saba County Line, and Hall.

Northeastern Taylor County in west central Texas. * Until 1015 PM CDT. * At 821 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain on the north side of Abilene. moving slowly south. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are possible in the warned area as it moves over Abilene. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in Abilene. HAZARD. Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Abilene, Wylie, Tye, Hawley, Hamby, Dyess Afb, Nugent, Caps, Potosi, Impact, Lake Fort Phantom Hill, Hodges and Kirby Lake. This includes Interstate 20 between Mile Markers 277 and 295. This includes the following Low Water Crossings. Until 1000 PM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 654 PM CDT, thunderstorms with very heavy rain over northcentral Jones and Central Haskell county will moves slowly northeast.Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause arroyo and small stream flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area.
