For the Harpeth River. including Bellevue. elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Harpeth River at Franklin. * WHEN. Until this evening. * IMPACTS. At 22.0 feet, Water covers portions of Lewisburg Pike between U.S. 431 and the Carnton Plantation which is impassable, as well as 3rd Ave N near the intersection with 4th Ave N, and approaches Cotton Ln near Fieldstone Pkwy, Del Rio Pike near Two Rivers Ln, and Old Natchez Trace near Temple Rd. For the Harpeth River. including Bellevue. elevated river levels are forecast. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues. * WHERE. Harpeth River at Bellevue. * WHEN. Until this evening. * IMPACTS. At 16.0 feet, Water continues to inundate low lying areas along the river including portions of the Harpeth River Greenway, the Old Natchez Country Club golf course, Reese Smith Jr baseball fields, the Harpeth Valley Golf Center, and the HYSA soccer complex. Moran Rd and Newsome Station Rd near the river are impassable. Water approaches the Ensworth High School athletic fields and Old Harding Pike near Morton Mill Rd. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:30 AM CDT Friday the stage was 16.1 feet and falling. - Forecast. Minor flooding is occurring. * WHERE. Cumberland River at Omohundro Water Plant. * WHEN. From this evening until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 41.0 feet, Flooding along the river begins from the Cumberland River Greenway Bridge in Shelby Bottoms Park to the I-24 bridge near downtown. This includes the ballfields and other areas in Shelby Bottoms Park, and properties adjacent to the river on Davidson St, Nestor St, and Visco Dr. Backwater effects also begin to cause flooding on Mill Creek up to near Lebanon Pike. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 8:00 PM CDT Thursday the stage was 41.3 feet and rising. - Recent Activity.
