At 1114 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated a strong thunderstorm near Checotah, moving east at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down small tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations in or near the path include. Checotah. Rentiesville. Lake Eufaula State Park. Onapa. This includes Interstate 40 in Oklahoma between mile markers 257 and 274.

Portions of Arkansas, including the following counties, Benton, Carroll, Crawford, Franklin, Madison, Sebastian and Washington AR and Oklahoma, including the following counties, Adair, Cherokee, Choctaw, Craig, Creek, Delaware, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Mayes, McIntosh, Muskogee, Nowata, Okfuskee, Okmulgee, Osage, Ottawa, Pawnee, Pittsburg, Pushmataha, Rogers, Sequoyah, Tulsa, Wagoner and Washington OK. * WHEN. From 7 AM CDT this morning through Sunday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Widespread heavy rainfall over the last week has led to very saturated ground, excessive runoff, and rising rivers and streams across the area. Another couple rounds of showers and storms are expected this weekend, with widespread moderate to locally heavy rainfall possible through Sunday evening.
