At 744 PM EDT, a strong thunderstorm was located near Owenton, moving east at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 45 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Locations impacted include. Williamstown, Dry Ridge, Owenton, Corinth, Stewartsville, Elk Lake, Cherry Grove, Long Ridge, Williamstown Lake, Twin Bridges, Keefer, Camp Northward, New Columbus, Needmore, Holbrook, Lawrenceville, and Cordova. This includes I-75 in Kentucky between mile markers 144 and 159. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. At 716 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 8 miles south of Peebles to near Aberdeen, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 45 mph, pea size hail, and very heavy rain. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible. Locations impacted include. West Union, Manchester, Tollesboro, Rome, Blue Creek, Concord, Trinity, Carrs, Bradysville, State Route 348 at State Route 125, Wamsley, Turkey Creek Lake, Bentonville, and Cedar Mills. If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building. Motorists should slow down and use extra caution. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. Southeastern Brown County, Ohio, and southern Adams County, Ohio. * WHEN. Until 1030 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 726 PM EDT, radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 2.5 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are possible. - Some locations that may experience flooding include. West Union, Manchester, Ripley, Aberdeen, Blue Creek, Decatur, Bentonville, Dunkinsville, Cedar Mills, Bradysville and Wamsley.
