Through this evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Heavy showers continuously tracking northward along a stalled surface boundary could result in 2-4 inches of rainfall with localized higher amounts for much of Eastern North Carolina. Cape Fear River At William O Huske Lock And Dam 3 affecting Cumberland and Bladen Counties. Great Pee Dee River At Pee Dee affecting Marion and Florence Counties. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Cape Fear River at William O Huske Lock And Dam 3. * WHEN. From Friday afternoon to early Monday morning. * IMPACTS. At 45.0 feet, Flood waters will affect lowlands along the east bank of the river with some minor overflow along the west bank. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 AM EDT Thursday the stage was 35.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow afternoon to a crest of 44.9 feet early Saturday afternoon.
