At 649 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 7 miles east of High Rock Lake to near Plyler to 7 miles east of Midland. Movement was north at 25 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include. Asheboro, Lexington, Albemarle, Troy, Badin Lake, Ansonville, Linwood, Plyler, Midland, and Polkton.

A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Davidson, Guilford and Randolph. * WHEN. Until 930 AM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 736 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to slow moving thunderstorms continuously redeveloping over the same area. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
