In west central Virginia, Alleghany VA and Botetourt. * WHEN. Through Saturday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Rain and thunderstorms are expected to continue through Saturday morning. Until 915 PM EDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, including on streets and urban areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 835 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 0.5 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 2 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. Locations most likely to see minor flooding including Bahama, Butner, Berea, and Oxford. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
