At 633 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Butner, or 7 miles southwest of Creedmoor, moving north at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts in excess of 30 mph and pea size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Durham, Butner, Stem, Lake Michie, Lake Butner, Gorman, Bahama, and Falls Lake.
