Pawtuxet River At Cranston affecting Kent and Providence Counties. Pawcatuck River At Westerly affecting New London and Washington Counties. Pawcatuck River At Wood River Junction affecting Washington County. For the Pawtuxet River. including Scituate Reservoir, Cranston. Minor flooding is forecast. For the Pawcatuck River. including Wood River Junction, Westerly. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Pawcatuck River at Westerly. * WHEN. Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS. At 7.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs along the Pawcatuck River. Along Route 3 in Hopkinton, floodwaters encroach on lowest lying homes in French Village. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 7.3 feet this evening.
