For the Pawcatuck River. including Wood River Junction, Westerly. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Pawcatuck River at Westerly. * WHEN. Until tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS. At 7.0 feet, Minor lowland flooding occurs along the Pawcatuck River. Along Route 3 in Hopkinton, floodwaters encroach on lowest lying homes in French Village. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 AM EDT Friday the stage was 6.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 7.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage late this morning to a crest of 7.3 feet this evening.
