In north central Iowa, Butler, Cerro Gordo, Franklin, Hancock, Humboldt, Kossuth, Winnebago, Worth and Wright. In northeast Iowa, Black Hawk and Bremer. In northwest Iowa, Emmet, Palo Alto and Pocahontas. In south central Iowa, Madison, Mahaska, Marion and Warren. In southwest Iowa, Adair and Cass. In west central Iowa, Audubon, Calhoun, Carroll, Crawford, Greene, Guthrie and Sac. * WHEN. From 1 AM CDT Tuesday through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS. As a result, have trimmed a few northern counties off of the watch and added a few counties on the southern edge of the watch. * WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE. Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Harrison, Monona, Pottawattamie and Shelby and Nebraska, including the following counties, Burt, Butler, Colfax, Cuming, Dodge, Douglas, Platte, Sarpy, Saunders, Thurston and Washington. * WHEN. Through Tuesday evening. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - Multiple rounds of heavy precipitation is expected with an increasing potential for training thunderstorms to develop after midnight. A second round of heavy rain is expected Tuesday late morning and afternoon. SVROAX The National Weather Service in Omaha has issued a * Severe Thunderstorm Warning for. Sarpy County in east central Nebraska. Western Douglas County in east central Nebraska. Southeastern Saunders County in east central Nebraska. * Until midnight CDT. * At 1054 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 5 miles southeast of Ithaca, or 10 miles west of Gretna, moving east at 25 mph. HAZARD. Ping pong ball size hail and 60 mph wind gusts. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. People and animals outdoors will be injured. Expect hail damage to roofs, siding, windows, and vehicles. Expect wind damage to roofs, siding, and trees. * Locations impacted include. Southwestern Omaha, Papillion, Gretna, Bennington, Boys Town, Elkhorn, Millard, La Vista, Ashland, Valley, Springfield, Yutan, Waterloo, Mead, Cedar Creek, Ithaca, Zorinsky Lake, Walnut Creek Recreation Area, Chalco, and Standing Bear Lake. This includes Interstate 80 in Nebraska between mile markers 428 and 446.

Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1028 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 2 and 3 inches of rain have fallen. - Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected over the area.
