For the James River. including Boaz. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. James River near Boaz. * WHEN. From early this morning to tomorrow evening. * IMPACTS. At 10.0 feet, Low lying areas near the river flood. Flows may be dangerous for canoers. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 12:45 AM CDT Monday the stage was 8.9 feet. - Bankfull stage is 10.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage this morning to a crest of 11.0 feet this afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage this evening. - Flood stage is 10.0 feet. - Flood History. FFWSGF The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a * Flash Flood Warning for. Northwestern Howell County in south central Missouri. Texas County in south central Missouri. Douglas County in southwestern Missouri. Northwestern Ozark County in southwestern Missouri. Eastern Taney County in southwestern Missouri. Southeastern Wright County in southwestern Missouri. * Until 915 AM CDT Monday. * At 1213 AM CDT, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain across the warned area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. Additional rainfall amounts of 1 to 2 inches are possible in the warned area. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly. HAZARD. Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms. SOURCE. Radar and automated gauges. IMPACT. Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas. * Some locations that will experience flash flooding include. Mountain Grove, Ava, Forsyth, Willow Springs, Houston, Cabool, Mansfield, Norwood, Summersville, Taneyville, Raymondville, Kissee Mills, Wasola, Vanzant, Drury, Gentryville, Brushyknob, Rockbridge, Brixey, Dora, Squires, Noble, Willhoit, Bendavis, Thornfield, Elk Creek, Simmons, Rome, Goodhope, Solo, Dogwood, Bucyrus, Long Run, Clear Springs, Brownbranch, Yukon, Bradleyville, Eunice, Arroll and Rueter. This includes the following low water crossings. Little North Fork River at County Road 916, South Fork Jacks Fork River at Stillhouse Road, Bryant Creek at County Road 223, Little Beaver Creek at County Road 447, North Fork River at County Road 278, Pond Fork at County Road 883 and Beaver Creek at County Road 524.

In southwest Missouri, Cedar, Dallas and Polk. In west central Missouri, St. Clair. * WHEN. Until 1045 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 1038 PM CDT, Local law enforcement reported heavy rain in the warned area due to thunderstorms. Flooding is already occurring. Between 2 and 5 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following low water crossings.
