A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county and independent city, Saint Louis and Saint Louis City. * WHEN. Until 915 AM CDT Monday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 310 AM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This will cause urban and small stream flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia and Jennings.

A portion of east central Missouri, including the following county and independent city, Saint Louis and Saint Louis City. * WHEN. Until 915 AM CDT. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 435 AM CDT, Rain was ending across the metro area. Most of the small stream gauges that recorded minor flooding are showing falling water levels. With the rain coming to an end, high water on small streams and creeks will be receding. Continue to obey all road closure signs and do not drive into areas where water covers the roadway. Be especially cautious of low water crossings. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. St. Louis, St. Charles, Florissant, Chesterfield, Wildwood, University City, Ballwin, Kirkwood, Maryland Heights, East St. Louis, Hazelwood, Webster Groves, Ferguson, Arnold, Manchester, Creve Coeur, Overland, Clayton, Cahokia and Jennings.

The National Weather Service in St Louis MO has issued a Flood Warning for the following points along the Mississippi. Mississippi River at Hannibal. Mississippi River at Clarksville. Mississippi River at Louisiana. Mississippi River at Saverton. River forecasts are based on observed precipitation and forecast precipitation for the next 24 hours. * WHAT. Minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Mississippi River at Clarksville. * WHEN. From Monday morning to early Saturday afternoon. * IMPACTS. At 27.2 feet, Silo Park just northwest of Clarksville off Highway 79 begins flooding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 9:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 23.3 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage tomorrow morning to a crest of 27.6 feet early Tuesday afternoon. It will then fall below flood stage early Friday morning. - Flood stage is 25.0 feet.
