At 550 PM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm over Franklin, or 10 miles west of Fort Madison, moving northwest at 15 mph. HAZARD. Winds in excess of 40 mph and penny size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could cause minor tree limb damage and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. West Point, Donnellson, Franklin, St. Paul, Pilot Grove, Houghton, Charleston, Mt Hamill, Lee County Fairgrounds, Sawyer, Primrose, Pollmiller Park, and Wilson Lake.
