The National Weather Service in Quad Cities IA IL has issued a Flood Watch for the following rivers in Iowa. Skunk River at Augusta affecting Lee, Henry IA and Des Moines Counties. * WHAT. Flooding is possible. * WHERE. Skunk River at Augusta. * WHEN. From Saturday evening until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 15.0 feet, Water overflows the south river bank near the Perkins Road bridge at Augusta. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 6:45 PM CDT Friday the stage was 11.3 feet. - Forecast. Flood stage may be reached tomorrow evening. - Flood stage is 15.0 feet. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood

* WHAT. Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is occurring. * WHERE. A portion of southeast Iowa, including the following county, Van Buren. * WHEN. Until 800 AM CDT Saturday. * IMPACTS. Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is occurring. Expect some areas of slow moving or standing water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 802 PM CDT, emergency management reported flooding in the warned area. Flooding is already occurring. There was also a trained spotter report of water over Jersey Avenue between Cantril and Mt. Sterling along the Fox River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include. Cantril and Mount Sterling.
