* WHAT. Small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE. In Minnesota, Lake and St. Louis Counties along the North Shore. * WHEN. Until 915 AM CDT Wednesday. * IMPACTS. Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 323 AM CDT Wednesday, Doppler radar and automated rain gauges indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. This is causing small stream flooding. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen. - This includes the following streams and drainages. Knife River, Gooseberry River, West Split Rock River, Little Knife River, Stewart River, Encampment River, Beaver River and East Branch Beaver River. Also included: Dago Creek, Skunk Creek, East Branch Forty- three Creek, McCarthy Creek, Big Sucker Creek, Forty-three Creek, Big Thirty-nine Creek, West Branch Forty-three Creek, Kit Creek, and Bud Creek. Additional rainfall amounts up to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding. - Some locations that will experience flooding include.
