For the following areas. Lake Huron from Presque Isle Lt. to Sturgeon Point MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border. Lake Huron from Sturgeon Point to Alabaster MI 5NM off shore to US/Canadian border. Presque Isle Light to Sturgeon Pt MI Including Thunder Bay National Marine Sanctuary. Sturgeon Pt to Alabaster MI. At 231 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Presque Isle Light to Thunder Bay to 16 nm west of Greenbush, moving northeast at 40 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts 34 knots or greater. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Locations impacted include. Middle Island, Alpena, Black River, Presque Isle Light, South Point, Greenbush, Thunder Bay, Sturgeon Point, Northern Lake Huron Buoy, and Harrisville.
