Portions of southeast Louisiana, including the following parishes, Central Tangipahoa, East Baton Rouge, East Feliciana, Eastern Ascension, Iberville, Lower Tangipahoa, Northern Livingston, Northern St. Tammany, Northern Tangipahoa, Pointe Coupee, Southeast St. Tammany, Southern Livingston, Southwestern St. Tammany, St. Helena, Washington, West Baton Rouge, West Feliciana and Western Ascension and southern Mississippi, including the following areas, Amite, Northern Hancock, Northern Harrison, Northern Jackson, Pearl River, Pike, Southern Hancock, Southern Harrison, Southern Jackson, Walthall and Wilkinson. * WHEN. Through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. At 459 AM CDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Hineston to near Longville. Movement was east at 35 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 40 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to vegetation and outdoor objects is possible. Locations impacted include. Oakdale, Oberlin, Glenmora, Elizabeth, Dry Creek, Sugartown, Hineston, Pitkin, Mittie, Grant, Lecompte, Elmer, Allen Parish Airport, Longville, Harmony, Fullerton, Leander, Cravens, Tulla, and Calcasieu. This includes Interstate 49 between mile markers 65 and 74.

Portions of Louisiana, including the following parishes, Allen, Avoyelles, Beauregard, Evangeline, Rapides and Vernon and southeast Texas, including the following areas, Hardin, Northern Jasper, Northern Newton, Southern Jasper, Southern Newton and Tyler. * WHEN. Through Tuesday morning. * IMPACTS. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - - Multiple rounds of showers and thunderstorms are expected to develop and move east across the region this afternoon and evening, then again on Monday. Heavy rainfall can be expected in some of the storms with average totals between 2 and 4 inches. Training of storms could lead to isolated higher totals of at least 6 inches or more. Recreational camps and river bottom farm land will be under water. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 10:00 PM CDT Sunday the stage was 46.8 feet. - Bankfull stage is 46.0 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise above flood stage Wednesday morning to a crest of 51.0 feet Wednesday, May 22. It will then fall below flood stage Thursday, May 30. - Flood stage is 48.0 feet. - Flood History.
