The next statement will be issued Sunday morning at 815 AM CDT. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast. * WHERE. Calcasieu River near Kinder. * WHEN. From this morning to early Wednesday morning. * IMPACTS. At 16.0 feet, Flooding of wooded areas near the river will occur. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 7:15 AM CDT Saturday the stage was 16.1 feet. - Recent Activity. The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending at 7:15 AM CDT Saturday was 16.1 feet. - Forecast. The river is expected to rise to a crest of 16.5 feet just after midnight tonight.
