At 425 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Plymouth, moving northeast at 20 mph. HAZARD. Wind gusts up to 50 mph and nickel size hail. SOURCE. Radar indicated. IMPACT. Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include. Plymouth, Nappanee, Bremen, Bourbon, Wakarusa, Locke, Inwood, Gravelton, and Hastings.

Nearshore Waters from Calumet Harbor to Michigan City. Open Waters from Wilmette Harbor to Michigan City out to Mid Lake. * Until 515 PM CDT. * At 320 PM CDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from 6 nm southwest of Hammond Marina to near Gary, moving northeast at 25 knots. HAZARD. Wind gusts to 40 knots and large hail. SOURCE. Radar. IMPACT. Small craft could be damaged in briefly higher winds and suddenly higher waves. Large hail could result in structural damage. * Severe thunderstorms will be near. Indiana Harbor and Hammond Marina around 325 PM CDT. Calumet Harbor and Marina Shores at Dune Harbor around 330 PM CDT. Burns Harbor around 335 PM CDT.
