Expect minor flooding downstream from the dam. * WHAT. Minor flooding is occurring. This approaches the flood of record. * WHERE. Blackfoot River near Shelley (Wolverine Canyon). * WHEN. Until further notice. * IMPACTS. At 8.5 feet, From the mouth of Wolverine Canyon upstream to the Blackfoot Dam, water flooding may be possible. Unimproved campgrounds may have water seeping or ponding in them along with strong flows at river's edge. Flat areas along the river and croplands may have water ponding. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS. - At 11:30 AM MDT Sunday the stage was 8.6 feet. - Recent Activity. Homes and cattle operation near Riverton Road (900 W) bridge just north of Ferry Butte Road (500 S) will start to have water seeping near them.
